A story to tell...

        I love literature.. i love reading and learn from it...However, there's one story that strengthens more my faith to God and our patron  here in Maslog, Danao City who is " St. Francis of Assisi " ... The story is not recorded and  was being passed from one generation to another in oral form...

        They said that there was once a woman before with a life that no one can assure to survive!

They are in hurry yet here comes a mysterious man that entered in the scene where life and death are the two main concerns.. He asked what's wrong & touch the woman.. After a few minutes the woman moves..she seems a healthy woman that she wants...she was save from death and thank the mysterious man and asked where it lives.. the man replied.. " atbang sa ila john, ara ko nimo makit'an"...

After being saved.. The woman searched for the mysterious man.. asked the masloganon's  where this man that can heal sickness can be found yet she failed because nobody knows this man...

    She just decided to go to the church & was shocked when the man with a white complexion, the mysterious man that she was searching of... is no other than " St. Francis of Assisi".............

                                           
                                           

                                         

The Treasure of Danao City

   Danao City is a place where everybody must visit. The place is really great and people too...Our annual fiesta is celebrated every second Sunday of September, where the most awaited " Karansa sa Danao " can be seen.. Wherever you go smiles of  the people around can be seen...Beside of the very festive fiesta there are lot of things that a danaowanon must be proud of... Some of it is the Church where people usually go, with our patron " Santo Tomas De Villanueva" who protect the city & the strength of danaowanons.

        Danao city is also known as the "city of guns"...where most of the guns is made...A true danaowanon is facing the great challenges without fear,aiming high and have faith in themselves & always ask god for guidance...

" I am one proud to be a danaowanon and i will make them proud of me & help preserve the reputation & it's treasures th"at no one can steal.. "
